Panarea - Aeolian Islands - Sicily holidays

Panarea is one of the most popular and renowned tourist destinations in the world. The smallest of the Aeolian Islands, its pristine natural landscape has seduced many from the worlds of art and entertainment, making it a sort of Mediterranean red carpet. Don’t miss San Pietro, which offers a glamorous night out in bars and clubs, with each cocktail prepared like a work of art.

This beautiful island offers up its breathtaking beaches, crystal-clear sea, relaxation, all mixed up with a cosmopolitan and lively flair. You can also explore its older history, of pirate incursions and conquests. The surrounding rocks are known by names like Basiluzzo, Spinazzola, Dattilo, Bottaio, Lisca Nera, Panarelli and Formiche. The largest, Basiluzzo, includes the ruins of an Roman imperial villa.

Must-sees on the island are the Bay of Cala Junco, a haven for underwater fishing, and the Rock of Petra Nave and the wreck of Lisca Bianca, an English ship lying in a sandy grave ten meters deep in the water.

What our guests say…

The building is beautiful,

our room was spacious and very clean and included a terrace with a spectacular view of the sea. We really appreciated the polite staff who just spoiled us at every request. The location is great, you can get to the center of town by foot and you can get a shuttle to the beach.
